Church & Leadership Development Team
Leader: Pastor Bob Hower


Responsibilities

   1. The Leadership and Church Development team shall consist of a team leader who is enlisted by the Administrative Team of the association with approval by the Executive Team or the association in annual session.


   2. The Leadership and Church Development Team members shall be enlisted by the team leader from local churches who have a passion in the area of leadership and church development.


   3. The Leadership and Church Development Team shall assess needs and set priorities in the area of developing, training and equipping leaders for the local churches of the association as well as leaders for the association itself.


   4. The Leadership and Church Development Team shall asses needs and seek input from local churches on a regular basis to set priorities in the area of church health with an emphasis on Sunday School, discipleship, stewardship, worship, mission education, and Vacation Bible School.


   5. The Leadership and Church Development Team shall create task forces as needed for specific events and projects with the approval of the team.


   6. The Leadership and Church Development Team shall endeavor to provide leadership and church development resources and materials to be available through the Resource and Mission Center of the association.


   7. The Leadership and Church Development Team shall communicate to the churches and leadership development and church development opportunities that may be available through the association, DSBF, or national agencies or resources.


   8. The Leadership and Church Development Team shall coordinate and plan events and activities in cooperation with the calendar planning function of the Administrative Team.
